GUEST HOUSE & BED AND BREAKFAST
Close to Pateley Bridge and bordering Nidderdale in the glorious Yorkshire Dales, North Yorkshire, surrounded by green fields and within walking distance of spectacular moorland, lies the Moorhouse Guest House & Bed and Breakfast. Built in 1970 of mellow York stone, here is a traditional country lodge which has hosted royal and celebrity guests, among them the legendary Bing Crosby.
By car you will reach the pretty market town of Pateley Bridge in 10 minutes, and the City of Ripon in 15. The spa town of Harrogate is a 20 minute drive away.
The Moorhouse Guest House has five double/twin bedrooms, all with en suite bathrooms. There is also a spacious sitting room and large dining room, both for exclusive use by our guests.
Apart from receiving a warm welcome from Manager and Cook, Jane Goodall, you will delight in the elegant decoration and furnishing of rooms, and the excellent and varied cuisine - traditional breakfasts, and by prior arrangement, teas and dinners. We also have a licence to sell drinks and wine, and we have our own borehole too, with state-of-the-art purification to deliver the purest water, unblemished by chemicals.
