Our aim is for you to enjoy the Moorhouse, but there are just a few restrictions:
We are a non-smoking establishment.
We regret also that we are unable to accommodate children under the age of 12,
nor can we accept pets in the house, except guide dogs or hearing dogs for the deaf.
Guests with Disabilities
A Country Lodge may be delightful to some, but its very character may pose difficulties for those with mobility problems. However, our guests will find the generous size of the rooms helpful. All the bathrooms have showers, and the Kettlestang bathroom on the ground floor has grab handles to assist on the lavatory or with bathing or showering. The grounds are well lit and there are steps with a hand rail or a ramp from the car park to the entrance. There two steps from the hallway to the Sitting Room. Also, some internal doorways are not wheelchair width. Room service can be provided if needed, and if you let us know your particular needs, we will do everything we can to assist.

Arrival and Departure
Please tell us your planned arrival time, ideally no earlier than 3.00pm and no later than 7.30pm, but if this is not possible or if you are delayed, we can be flexible, so let us know. Rooms are prepared by 3pm. We require guests to vacate rooms by 11 am on the day of departure.
We have tried to create an elegant and restful atmosphere with attractive furnishings, and we hope that our guests will care for the Moorhouse and its contents as they would their own home. If damage or breakages do occur, we ask that these are reported as soon as they happen.
We do not accept any liability for any injury caused to any guest, or for any loss of ,or damage to, their possessions, unless the cause is proven to be a negligent act by ourselves or by our employees or by contractors working on our behalf.
We have a safe in which we can secure valuables on behalf of our guests.
We accept no responsibility for the safety of valuables left unattended in rooms.
